What is the CALM Acne Study’s Usability Research?
The CALM Acne Study’s Usability Research is a study in the Boston area evaluating the usability of an investigational acne injection system.
This study does not involve medication, drug testing, or actual treatment. Instead, participants will provide hands-on feedback to help improve how the system is used.
Who Can Participate?
Acne Patients
Individuals from a range of ages, genders, and experiences who have been diagnosed with acne and who are willing to interact with the device in a simulated setting.
Clinicians with Clinical Trial Experience
Clinicians (e.g. Study Coordinators, LPN, RN, NP, PA, MD/DO) with clinical trial experience and familiarity with injection procedures.
What to Expect
- Complete the eligibility questionnaire
- Complete 15-min phone screening
- Attend a single 75-minute session
- Receive compensation ($125+)

- Participation requires about 75 minutes
